It is so important to reclaim our ability to dream as a form of gathering knowledge.

Wyrd is concept corresponding to fate or personal destiny. The word is ancestral to modern English weird, whose meaning has drifted towards an adjectival use with a more general sense of "supernatural" or "uncanny", or simply "unexpected".

“Wyrding” or “Weirding” roughly means “Weaving Fate”.

We come together and by “sister-ing”, we weave a new fate for ourselves and our sisters.

DREAMING

In old English drēam meant “joy, music” later it was transformed into old norse draumr.

Dreaming is a practice, an active part of life. Visioning, seeing, visualizing, bringing into being. Wether our eyes are open or closed, awake or asleep, we bring into consciousness what was hidden before.

The core of my work as an artist is DREAMING, the pre-disposition of WEIRDING.

I´ d like to dream and weird with you and practice and invocation, a special way of dreaming with our eyes and hearts wide open.

IN CIRCLE

Throughout times the circle has been recognized as a sacred space.

When we dream together, we unify in new possibility.

We will be „coming together“ with sparkling, light-hearted depth and care.

The ingredients of the evening will be a light movement/change of state, a serving of Cacao you will prepare for yourself and Katrin will use her voice to guide you into a deep dream state. If you don’t have cacao at home, please make yourself a lovely herbal concoction and it will inspire you as well.

Cacao calms the nervous system, relaxes the tension in the muscles and gently elevates the spirit.
