LIGHT ARROWS 

2019 - ongoing 

The process of creating the LIGHT ARROWS is an ongoing investigation around sacredness of objects, how mythologies and artefacts are charged with meaning and purpose.

The objects are handcarved form air drying clay and prepared with handmade pigment and natural color which was harvested in sacred places , such as black sand, clamshell, ochre, red earth and various minerals from Melrakaslétta, Myvatn Area, Àsbyrgi, Hraunhafnartangi, Raufarhöfn, Húsavík area, Westfjords area, Eastfjords area in Iceland, hand prepared indigo from Japan and minerals from my home mountain area in lower Franconia/ Germany. 

The objects are sealed with beeswax and then taken around these same sacred places during the time of the midnight sun and charged at noon and midnight every day.

They are laid out it sacred geometry. Songs for whales, ancestors and guides are included in every meditation. 

The objects slowly and over time turn into containers of this precious light.
